DR. JOHN - Babylon ( Atco 228 018, UK 1969 )
The 2nd album from MALCOLM JOHN "MAC" REBENNACK - better known as DR. JOHN only - recorded in late 1968 and released in January 1969 - an excellent muiscally amalgam  of voodoo / jazz / folk / blues / rock mixed with psychedelia and progressive moves and his distinctive vocals / voice...     Here as rare and NOT easy to find UK original pressing on the "brown / blue Atco" label - come with front laminated gatefold cover, made by MacNeill Press Ltd. - A1 / B1 matrix ending.....



The record is in very good plus to excellent minus (vg+/ex-) condition, showing several paper scuffs and fine (some longer) hairlines - NO marks or deep scratches - plays great - only here and there some soft surface cracklings, in the background only...
The cover is also in excellent minus (ex-) condition, showing only tiny signs of age like wear on corners right side and some tiny wear (abrasions) on top right side of the front cover
