Original Australian 1985 CBS pressing of USA For Africa – We Are The World, catalogue SBP 8061.
A wonderfully evocative piece of 1980s music history, bringing together an extraordinary line-up of major artists for the USA For Africa project.
The famous title track was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and produced by Quincy Jones, with performers including Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Ray Charles, Billy Joel, Paul Simon and many more.
The album also contains nine additional superstar recordings including tracks by Prince & The Revolution, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Steve Perry, Tina Turner, Chicago, Kenny Rogers, The Pointer Sisters and Huey Lewis & The News.

Vinyl has been fully play tested and plays very well. Some light crackle is audible in the lead-in when the needle is first dropped, but once playing there are no significant pops, crackles, skips or other playback issues noted.
Vinyl retains very good gloss with some light surface/handling marks visible under reflected light.
Original gatefold sleeve presents very well for its age with only minor age/storage wear. Original David Jones $11.95 retail price sticker remains attached to the front cover.
Original printed lyric/credits insert is included and presents very well.
