Pink Floyd: The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn: Extremely hard to find UK first original pressing 1967 Mono: Blue/Black Columbia label Cat Num--SX6157--- Mono: Nice clean gloss laminated flipback sleeve in excellent condition, Minimal opening edge wear negligeable and very minimal laminate crease. Spine square excellent with text still clear. Corners are still square. Reverse displays no discolouration. Hard to find better sleeve, full original bright colours not faded after 38 years. Still with original EMI Emitex advertising inner sleeve. Labels are clear without any tears or writing, only light centre spindle marks. Vinyl is generally clean with light crackle between tracks but plays fine. Displays some light surface but no deep scratches. Light crackle can be heard on quiet intros, but fades as band kicks in. Matrix numbers are side one--XAX3419-2 & side two--XAX3420-1. Strictly graded as very good++. A nice item for fans/serious collectors/completeists. See pictures. Listed at £180 in 2004 record collector price guide but changes hands for much more. New book published this month will list a substantial rise in the value for this much sought after record.
