Ultra-Rare OINGO BOINGO '79 Orig. NUMBERED 10" DEMO EP

From circa 1979 (or 1980?) here is the Ultimate OINGO BOINGO Collector's Item:  This is the Original (ULTRA-RARE, NUMBERED!) OINGO BOINGO 10-inch vinyl DEMO EP!  Recorded and pressed by DANNY ELFMAN and other band members, for distribution to record labels and radio stations -- in hopes of getting signed to a record contract...("Sign This Group!" is rubber-stamped all over the back cover!)  

This Demo's pressing run consisted of only 130 copies (the vast majority of which have since been either lost or destroyed); this is copy #47, according to the notation on the back.  I am the original owner, and I've decided to part with this most rare cornerstone of my treasured record collection only (very) reluctantly, in hopes it will make its way into the hands of another serious collector (and lifelong Boingo fan!)  BTW the front cover is also an original, unique work of art (spray painted background & stencilled lettering) and the back cover is covered with rubber stamps, as shown...also contains printed insert with more original art and lyric sheet. 

The OINGO BOINGO DEMO EP contains 4 tracks: "AIN'T THIS THE LIFE" (3:35) and "ONLY A LAD" (4:18) on Side One; "FORBIDDEN ZONE" (3:59) and "I'M SO BAD" (3:56) on Side Two.   

CONDITION:  Cover is in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition, but has normal (although not excessive) wear & tear as might be expected on an item approximately 30 years old.  Vinyl was played a number of times when new, but then pretty much put away (on a high shelf!) as soon as the regular commercial release came out in 1980 -- may have a couple minor surface clicks & pops, but otherwise is in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition.  It would sound perfectly fine if it were to be played on the air today (provided you could even find a radio station somewhere that still had suitable antique equipment, i.e. an actual turntable in the studio.)

(Please note, with respect to the scanned images above: a slight yellowish streak, visible on some monitors, is due to a scanner defect on my end, and is NOT present on any of the original objects!)
