Description
Apologies to everyone who viewed this listing and tried to play the clips this past week. I didn't realize until a listener clued me in that the audio samples were flawed--many thanks to him for that. The original samples were from my Audio-Technica 120, which normally produces very accurate sound, but the output port has apparently gone bad on it. These new samples were recorded off a little battery-operated Crosley that doesn't maintain speed with great precision, but is very serviceable. In any case, they sound a lot better than the ones that were up earlier.
Chris Christian and the Chordaires, Lover Boy b/w No Use Pretending on Testa104. VG+, red wax pressing (there seems to be only one other copy that's been photographed and posted on the internet, and it's on black vinyl and has a slightly different text layout on the labels than this copy). A-side is acoustic rockabilly bopper with great lyrics, B-side very like an Elvis ballad of the era (1960). Check out the sound files below. A-side has a name written on the label, as you can see in the picture. Well done and impossibly rare. Powered by eCommercePlayer.com Powered by eCommercePlayer.com
