Description
You are bidding on a once-played edition of Uncle Tupelo's 4th and final studio album, 1993's Anodyne. I purchased this when it was released in 2010, played it once and put it back in a protective sleeve. The hype sticker has been thrown away but everything else is in excellent condition. No major dings or flaws on the cover, only some minor shelf wear on the top and bottom. I focused in on the flaws in the pictures. The vinyl looks glossy and new as it only was played once.
This has been stored in a smoke and pet-free home with little to no humidity. Have fun bidding on this classic alt-country slab o' fun.

The fourth & final studio album by Uncle Tupelo was originally released in 1993. Credits for the songwriting for this album are split between Jay Farrar and Jeff Tweedy and features a cover version of Doug Sahm's song "Give Back the Key To My Heart" with Sahm on vocals. Prior to the recording of Anodyne, the group underwent line-up changes including the departure of drummer Mike Heidorn and the addition of new band members, bassist John Stirratt, drummer Ken Coomer and multi-instrumentalist Max Johnston. During promotional tours for the album, tensions between Farrar and Tweedy resulted in the breakup of the band.
