Under Milk Wood Dylan Thomas LPThis is a 2 LP set album by Dylan Thomas called Under Milk Wood. The record is a radio drama from 1954. Thomas is a Welsh poet. The record has the voices of the original cast.
An omniscient narrator invites the audience to listen to the dreams and innermost thoughts of the inhabitants of a fictional small Welsh fishing village Llareggub.
They include Mrs. Ogmore-Pritchard, relentlessly nagging her two dead husbands; Captain Cat, reliving his seafaring times; the two Mrs. Dai Breads; Organ Morgan, obsessed with his music; and Polly Garter, pining for her dead lover. Later, the town awakens and, aware now of how their feelings affect whatever they do, we watch them go about their daily business.
Each side of the vinyl is simply labeled as parts. Side 1 is Part 1. Side 2 is Part 2...and so on.
The record is in near mint condition. The sleeve appears in excellent to near mint condition. It has some very very minor wear.
