United Pentecostal Church - Sons of the King Trio - For His Glory - LP **read. vinyl is in fair to Vg+ condition

This very rare LP for the serious UPCI memorabilia/music collector. Its in fair shape, it has a hairline CRACK (see pic) that will affect the play on the first three tracks of both sides. There is also a scratch on one side that runs across all six tracks. Other that that the other three tracks on one side that are not affected are in Very Good plus (VG+) condition

This is a very rare LP from the 1960s of a UPCI trio consisting of Sis. Ruth and her late hisband Pastor Leon Brokaw. Rev. Brokaw was a former UPCI pastor, musician and district official. Rev Brokaw was also close friend from youth of the late Bishop Kenneth Haney (former superintendent of the UPCI). In earlier years Brokaw taught at Christian Life College (formerly western apostolic Bible college) and Texas Bible College.

October 5, 1940 – November 28, 2021

Leon Brokaw, born on October 5, 1940, in the home of his parents in Exeter, CA, was restored to glory alongside His beloved Savior and Friend, Jesus Christ, at the age of 81 in the early morning of November 28, 2021. His wife of 60 years, Ruth, and his granddaughter, Kellie, were present at the time of his passing in his home in Visalia, CA.

Leon grew up in Exeter with his parents, Melford and Evelyn Brokaw, and his sister, Yvonne, and graduated from Exeter High School. At the age of 16, Leon committed his life to serve God, and he spent the remainder of his adult life as a youth pastor in Houston, TX and San Jose, CA, and, later as a pastor in Turlock, CA; Portland, OR; and finally, Heritage Church in Visalia, CA. He was also a Professor of Theology at Texas Bible College, as well as his alma mater, Christian Life College in Stockton, CA.

July 3, 1935 - August 24, 2014

Resident of Discovery Bay

David Theobald passed away after a brief struggle with his second bout of Lymphoma cancer with his loving family by his side. He was a respected Reverend, "Pastor Dave," a devoted husband, and a loving and gentle father. David will be missed forever by all who knew him and who loved him.

Born and raised in Shelbyville, Indiana, David moved with his parents and two sisters to Santa Cruz, California when he was 13. On July 3, 2014, David celebrated his 79th birthday as well as his 60th Wedding Anniversary with his sweetheart, Regina. David loved people, served in ministry for 50 years, and continued to be a larger-than-life presence until the end of his life.
