Seems to be a completely unknown Memphis 70s soul/gospel single on the tiny Efe label... no one seems to know the label or the band. Arrangement and song credits include Johnnie Frieson - who might be Johnnie Frierson, brother of Wendy Rene, who performed w/ her in the Volt act the Drapels before her solo career on Stax. Other credits include Curtis and Calvin Eubanks.

"Can You Lose" is a complete jaw-dropper. A-side is more upbeat and is no slouch either. A fantastic record - and with no other known copies at this point - it's incredibly rare.

Condition: Cover: VG+, great gloss, some light hairlines and scuffs - nothing major.

Listen to a clip below - this is direct from the album w/ no filters. It actually tends to amplify background noise and small tics and pops - so most of the time the sound clips actually sound considerably worse than the album - but it will give you a general idea of what to expect.

A Note on Packing: We pack our records carefully in sturdy new boxes and we use cardboard inserts.

Return Policy: If you are unhappy with your item - let us know. This doesn't happen often, but when it does we take it seriously. You can return it for full credit within seven days of receiving the item.

RECORD GRADING

 We grade conservatively, and aim to describe the records accurately. We grade visually according to Goldmine standards, with the addition of an Excellent (VG++ or E)grade for the hazy grey area between Near Mint and VG+. This grade applies to records with one minor flaw that makes it no longer Near Mint, but still above VG+.
