Note: Ultra-rare unknown/undocumented 45 by Brown, who will be known to rockabilly collectors for a totally different version of this song he had recorded about 10 years earlier. This updated version, done in an uptempo raw funky soul style, seems to date from around '68 or '69 (judging by dates established for other releases on the label). Paragon was a small Canadian label which put out all kinds of interesting soul and garage/psych obscurities, mostly LP's and a handful of 45s, including Frank Motley & The Hitchhikers, King Herbert & The Knights, Reign Ghost, Jackie Shane and more. This one seems totally untraceable, zilch on the Internet! Doesn't seem to have been pressed in the US either. Probably your only chance to grab this one.
