Description

An extremely rare, complete set of five radio transcription discs containing the live 1941 New Year's benefit special for the WWII charity Bundles for Britain. It features otherwise unavailable vocal performances by Judy Garland and comedy performances by Jack Benny, as well as appearances by Mickey Rooney, Myrna Loy and lots of other celebs of the time. For 70-year-old shellacs, they're in beautiful condition with full gloss and a few minor surface marks; several have a mild pressure warp that does not affect playback.
