Sleepless
Original OZ 1st Mini LP released in 1986 on Truetone Records. Cat: 8302691. Comes with printed inner bag which is in Excellent condition.
Often compared to The Church, R.E.M and the Los Angeles Paisley Underground scene of the early eighties (The Dream Syndicate, The Long Ryders, The Rain Parade et al), Ups & Downs would undeniably produce some of the finest pop-rock songs of Australia’s original alternative era (1976 – 1989). Many will recall the chiming guitars and pitch perfect harmonies of indie-chart topping singles The Perfect Crime, In the Shadows & The Living Kind (heard most recently on hit TV show Bondi Rescue) as well as their take on the Neil Diamond classic Solitary Man (taken from the brilliant Sleepless mini-album). While others may be familiar the later end of Ups & Downs career and the Mushroom label singles Lit By the Fuse & Moments Away taken from their sole album release, Under the Watchful Eye.

Record has some light scuff marks and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ring wear and a few tiny tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
