Comments: By 1973 Johnny C had abandoned the Funk for the flavor of the day, Philly Soul, represented here by a couple of great tracks, both up-tempo. Particularly the B-side epitomize the Philly sound, free flowing with a smooth arrangement – as someone put it – very very Philly.
