Here's a breakdown of Adrian Smith's involvement in the band Urchin during the 1970s:


* Formed in 1972: Urchin was initially started by Adrian Smith and Dave Murray, who would later become his bandmate in Iron Maiden.

* Early Days: They played local gigs and talent shows, undergoing lineup changes and evolving their sound.

* Record Deal: In 1976, Urchin signed with DJM Records and recorded two singles: "Black Leather Fantasy" (1977) and "She's a Roller" (1978).

* Dave Murray's Return: Murray briefly rejoined Urchin for "She's a Roller" after a brief departure from Iron Maiden.

* Disbanding: Urchin ultimately disbanded in 1980, shortly before Smith joined Iron Maiden.
