Description

An original 1st press of W&Ds on UK Bronze label. Matrix A1U/B1U. Stampers 1A/1R - placing it amongst the 1st few thousand copies ever pressed. Well worth going for the early copies - they were pressed heavy. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold printed by Tinsley & Robor - these are the 1st issues. We also have an original bespoke inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side, one fairly superficial trail - but nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with two slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Lovin' it - this is a cracking copy. Very clean signalled allowing those lowkey numbers to just flow unhindered. Upbeat numbers are delivered with power and deft. Very little background observable at all. A couple of ticks midway through side 2, and a further twos ticks later in Paradise. Providing you can live with that - the rest of the Lp is a total cracker. Highly recommended.
Cover (Vg+) Very nice clean surfaces with only a touch of handling in the upper sectors - better than you typically find. Please note there is a crease running horizontally beneath the album title [it doesn't seem to cause issue]. The interior looks superb with no issues. Only minor edge wear and the openings are still firm. The spine is in great order with all text fully legible. Overall the cover retains great rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light edge wear. But NO splits!
