   For sale is Uriah Heep's Look At Yourself, originally released in 1971 by Mercury Records with a special die-cut cover containing a mirrored surface behind the cut out. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "PR", followed by the matrix numbers M-1/M-1, indicating that the first stamper was use to make this album at Presswell Records Manufacturing Company's pressing plant located in Ancora, New Jersey. According to the liner notes, the record was mastered by Gilbert Kong. These are hallmarks of state-of-the art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it away in a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as Excellent because of corner blunts, a few small creases and faint ring wear. The vinyl is visually graded as VG+ because of a small surface scratch across the first song on Side One (A1). I'm play grading it as Excellent because of a pop on Side Two and occasional low level surface noise, hardly noticeable. It's been played only on Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life yet. This has become a very rare record and you would hard pressed to find a first edition like this copy. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have a lot more Progressive Rock and Roll albums, as well as records of all genres listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look.
