Uriah Heep - Look At Yourself

(Bronze ILPS 9169 UK LP 1971)


This is a 1971 UK original LP pressing. Distributed by "Island Records". It has a matt sleeve which has a die-cut mirrored front sleeve. The sleeve has a "pinched" top & bottom spine. It comes with its original printed lyric/ information inner sleeve. This is printed on paper. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press A-1U/ B-1U matrix stampers. "Porky" is etched in the dead wax on Side 1's label. The Bronze labels have the small Island "i" logo on them. All this indicates a genuine UK 1st pressing of this great early 1970's UK Hard Prog Rock LP.



Sleeve: There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge & corner tips. There are two small 1 cm and 1.5 cm tears at the rear sleeve opening - near the bottom. VG condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are a couple of small & light hairline marks. VG- condition. The labels are in excellent+ condition & show light spindle wear only.

The Lyric/ Information inner sleeve is in Good+ condition. There is a 16 cm seam split at the centre of the bottom edge. There is a 5 cm seam split at one side. There is some light to mild ringwear. There is some light, mild or very mild foxing on some areas.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall. There is some light, very minor or very mild crackle in some quieter places. Overall, a very reasonable audio copy. There are no clicks or pops.
