Description

On offer here is a copy of Salisbury by Uriah Heep, a first pressing released on the Large Vertigo Label In 1971, catalogue number 6360 028.

The gatefold sleeve is in Excellent Plus condition, please see my photos for a detailed look at the condition. There is a small amount of tape residue to each corner but does not do or support anything, hard to see and no idea why the original owner did this but has to be pointed out, please see picture on this. These could be removed.

The vinyl is also is in Excellent Plus condition, and has a glossy shine to both sides, with some very slight paper lines where the vinyl has been removed from the inner but these are surface lines and not at all invasive.

The matrix numbers are 1Y 1 and 2Y 1.

The Vertigo labels are in very clean condition with some feint spindle marks to indicate any play, and as a first press have the large Vertigo swirl.

This Vertigo Inner Bag is in Excellent Plus condition and has the correct date of 0171, the Inner is unsplit.

Overall I would rate this copy as at least Excellent, arguably better. Now difficult to find in this condition, is a great addition to any collection and especially on the Vertigo swirl label.

The record will be sent outside of its cover in a polythene sleeve sandwiched between two 12” cardboard stiffeners in a heavy duty record mailer made by Covers 33 as used by Mail Order Record companies.

It will be sent within three days of receiving payment, by PayPal only please and this is only open to. UK bidders, thanks.
