Description
An original 1st press of TMB on the UK Bronze label. Matrix A1U/B1U. Etching 'G.Kong'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Robor printed gatefold cover. Also included is the original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) Stunning condition and has clearly only seen very light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. If you are looking for ultimate audio on this title then - congratulations! - you've just found it. I've heard a few of these copies and they've played to an impressive level - BUT this copy seems to be on a whole new level. The audio just has a sense of stunning transparency and you can hear deep deep into the mix. Certainly the best copy I've demoed. There's no interference to speak of. All we detected was a couple of crackles [literally] the whole way through. Even the ultra-fussy track 'RAIN' plays super clean. Good luck finding another copy that will even get close to this one! FINAL UPGRADE par excellence...
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely clean back and front with barely a crease and only very light handling. The interior is in great condition too - no issues at all. Edge wear is very light and all the text on the spine is legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat.
Inner (Vg+) A bit of ageing on one side. And one 1 inch split at the bottom seam.
