Uriah Heep: Very 'Eavy Very 'Umble. 1970 Rare UK Vertigo Spiral LP

Description

The classic heavy rock and blues 1970 debut album from Uriah Heep, on the highly sought-after Vertigo Spiral label. This was a secondhand purchase by me, finding it in a used record shop sometime in the 80's when it was still possible to find interesting things in such places.

As such, it is by no means a mint copy, but in testimony to the high quality of UK pressings of the period, it is still a highly acceptable listen. This LP is pressed on heavy vinyl, with the catalogue number 6360 006. The matrix numbers stamped into the deadwax are 6360006 1Y//1 V 420 and 6360006 2Y//1 V420

The disc was slipped into a Nagaoka anti-static liner probably around 10 years ago, and it has been correctly stored and handled during the period of my ownership..

The LP will be packaged in a cardboard mailer with 2 stiffeners, a PVC outer sleeve, and the disc will be packed outside the LP covers, so as not to damage the edges.

I noticed the condition description section above somehow cuts off prematurely. The missing section is: "Front and rear faces are OK with some creasing of the laminate. The rear face is showing the disc imprint, but this has not developed into ringwear. The plain-card inside of the gatefold has a few small white dots, where I assume the suface card has worn, but it doesn't look too bad. The spiral inner bag has 3 small seam splits, and is somewhat creased and discoloured."
