Up for sale is the UK Vertigo swirl pressing of Uriah Heep's Very Eavy Very Umble. A pretty rare album and a prog classic. Please see all photographs above and read description. Priced this low due to non collectors condition.
Condition:
Record is visually VG (a UK record dealer sold this to me as "EX"), there are some scuffs. I listened to this carefully on Stax SR-009 headphones which are very revealing. At the start of side 1 there are some repeating tics every revolution in the lead in groove and during the softer intro, once the loud vocal part comes in they can not be heard. The tics can also be heard in the first song during the very quiet middle section where there is just a low level keyboard in the right channel, they can be heard again as the song is ending and goes into the into of the second song. On the first song of side 2 there are tics through out and for the beginning portion of song 2.
Jacket is in poor condition due to a tear in the back of the cover, the glue is also coming undone on the bottom seam, this could be repaired with some stronger glue. See photograph above.
Does not include swirl inner sleeve, LP is in a MFSL rice paper inner sleeve.
