Description
For sale is a copy of Uriah Heep’s debut album, Very ‘eavy, Very ‘umble.
This is an original UK 1st Pressing produced in 1970 which features the much sort-after Vertigo swirl labels.
Uriah Heep were one of the first heavy metal groups and their debut album is widely regarded as their best.
This is a fantastic opportunity to add a fantastic copy of this fantastic album to your collection
Many vinyl records are mis-sold on eBay. There are several details which identify this copy as a true 1st pressing. They are:
· Portrait style outer laminated gatefold sleeve
· Mis-printed sleeve with the songs “Real Turned On” and “Walking in Your Shadow” in a different order to that on the record
· Large Vertigo swirl labels without writers’/publishers’ credits
· 6360 006 catalogue number
· Label speed indicator with 33 printed in a different font to 1/3
· Matrix numbers: 1Y 1 420 (side 1) and 2Y 1 420 (side 2)

Vinyl: Very Good +
Visually the record looks great.
Both sides of the vinyl surface retain the original gloss sheen.
There are several marks to both sides but none that are feel-able.
The labels are bright and clean with minimal spindle wear.
The audio on both sides is as lively as you would hope.
There is great channel separation, clear vocals and punchy basslines.
Sleeve: Very Good +
The iconic sleeve still looks fantastic.
All four sides retain their original vibrant colours.
There is a few ripples to the laminate on the front and rear.
Otherwise nothing to note, the corners are strong, and the spine and edges are distinct.
Inner Sleeve: Very Good +
The original tracing paper lined swirl inner sleeve is in great condition.
There is only subtle discolouration and no tears, rips or creasing at all.
Also included in the sale is an audiophile quality inner sleeve which provides the best possible protection for the record.
This is a fantastic example of a rare and much sought-after album. A must have addition to the record collection of any rock/metal music fan.
The album is housed within a premium quality polythene outer sleeve. The vinyl is separate to the sleeve.
The album will be sent within a padded vinyl record mailer.
