Uriah Heep - Very 'Eavy Very 'Umble
(Vertigo 6360 006 UK LP 1970)
This is a UK original LP pressing. The sleeve is quite nice & clean. However, sadly, the vinyl is heavily played. Therefore, it would be excellent for someone who has a copy with a bad sleeve or with no sleeve at all. However, the vinyl actually plays through fine. Please see below for a full description.
It has a heavyweight front laminated gatefold sleeve. It comes with its original polythene lined "Swirl" company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has Swirl Vertigo labels. These have a large swirl logo on Side 2's label. The record has 1st press 1Y#-1/ 2Y#-1 matrix stampers.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some mild or very mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light or very minor laminate cracking on the spine on some central areas. There is some light, mild or very mild rubbing wear at the rear sleeve openings. There is a thin 6 cm tear on the inner gatefold near the top (see photo). VG++ condition
Vinyl: As stated, this is a well played copy. There are moderate to considerable sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 10-12 hairline marks. These measure from 2 cm to 9 cm in length. Fair condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show mild to moderate spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in VG condition. There is some light, mild or more moderate to mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG overall & VG+ in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background which is noticeable in the quieter places. There are a couple of light clicks toward the end of Side 1, & a couple of mild clicks on Side 2. Considering the visual condition, this record actually plays very well overall. It does not jump or stick.
