Description
ITEM: A used double record album featuring the one and only Jimi Hendrix. This is the album I call “The White Album”. It’s titled, “A Portrait of Jimi Hendrix” and was released shortly after his death as a tribute to him. This is a bootleg issue. I remember purchasing it from a record store in the 1970’s when bootlegs were all the rage. I may have played it twice, if that. The discs look good and play well with the exception of side one which has a pressing defect (bump) that causes a play-thru skip. The gatefold cover is in excellent condition (one owner).
WARNING: This is a bootleg. The recording, as advertised on the back, is fair at best. The guitar comes through but not much else. Vocals are distant and the drums and bass are almost non-existent. Recommended for the true Hendrix fan only.
CONDITION: VERY GOOD … (light wear and aging, one pressing defect on side one).
