• You are bidding on one used copy of The EMITT RHODES stereo album "Farewell To Paradise" on 12 inch vinyl. This is an original release and a cut-out. Emitt Rhodes recorded this album at home by himself. Entire album written, arranged, produced, recorded, engineered and all instruments performed by Emitt Rhodes.

• The LP and jacket is USED but in very good condition. (See grading legend below). The disc is considered Excellent (EX) and is not warped. There are some light marks on both sides that are not expected to be audible. No scratches on either side. The jacket is Very Good (VG): There is significant contact and ring wear on the both sides. The edges and corners show some wear also. No creases or bends in the cardboard. There is a cut-out hole in the top left jacket. The lyric sheet is in very good condition. The inner sleeve is special to ABC/Dunhill and is in good condition; there is a 2 inch break in the bottom. The pictures below are of the actual item.

• AllMusic Review by Matthew Greenwald:
  This, essentially Emitt Rhodes' third and final album, is once again a one-man-band affair. It does differ, however, from his earlier efforts. The record has a much more wistful, almost Harry Nilsson-like feeling, and this permeates most of the cuts. This album also finds Rhodes experimenting with other instruments, such as violin on "Warm Self Sacrafice," one of the album's standouts. Although not as buoyant as his earlier efforts, Farewell to Paradise is still a very strong album, and further cements his reputation as one of the great (albeit long-lost) artists of the period.

  Emitt Rhodes passed away on July 19, 2020.

• EX = Only slight signs of wear; very clean, only light surface marks which do not distract significantly from the sound. Cover has only slight surface wear and is still in nice collectible condition.
  
• VG+ = Evidence of play, with moderate surface wear and some minor noise - still plays well. Cover is solid with no breaks but may have minor surface wear or some ring wear.
  
• VG = Overall wear, but no skips or serious defects. May be somewhat noisy during quiet passages. Cover is worn, with considerable ring wear, and may have partially broken edges.
  
• VG- = Playable, but both the record and cover are well worn.
  
• G or G+ = Poor or Rough condition. Holefiller only!
