Description

This is the very rare 1956 7" 45rpm single 'HEARTBREAK HOTEL' b/w 'I WAS THE ONE' on the beautiful mauve/gold HMV label, cat# 7M-385. The labels are clean and unblemished with no spindle-marking that I can see. Viewed under a strong light the A-side vinyl has some light 'hairline' marks. The B-side is similar with one heavier (but still very light) mark. These marks do not sound. There is a little crackle in play, but absolutely NO thumps jumps or skips! I think it's fair to say the disc plays Exc.
Please study the scans. Please note that the white 'flecks' visible on the disc are due to the scanning process and are not present on the disc.  This disc has been thoroughly play-tested on a CITRONIC PD-1 deck with a lightweight tone-arm.
