Description

This is the extremely rare 1956 7" 45rpm single 'BLUE SUEDE SHOES' b/w 'OO-OO-OO' by BOYD BENNETT AND HIS ROCKETS (with BIG MOE on the B-side). It is an original 1st pressing on the elegant mauve PARLOPHONE label, cat# MSP6233. It come with the correct company sleeve.  The A-side label has the initials 'D.H.' in VERY faint pencil writing, the gold text is nice and clean and there is no visible spindle-marking. the B-side also has the initials 'D.H.' in pencil, a little heavier this time. The text is as the A-side and again, I can see no spindle-marking.  Viewed under a strong light, the A-side vinyl has one very VERY light non-sounding 'hairline' mark. The B-side has two such marks. The disc plays Near Mint.  Please study the scans. Please note that the white 'flecks' visible on the disc are due to the scanning process and are not present on the disc.  This disc has been thoroughly play-tested on a CITRONIC PD-1 deck with a lightweight tone-arm.
