V/A (AC/DC)- Albert Archives: The Best Kept Secrets of Albert Productions 1965-1976, 1979 Australia gatefold LP APLP-037: This album serves as a great overview of the early Australian rock scene via the extensive discography of Australia’s Albert Productions. Undoubtedly, the highlight here is the inclusion of the b-side to the debut AC/DC 45 “Rockin’ in the Parlour”, featuring Dave Evans on vocals and unavailable elsewhere outside of the original single. Also tangentially related to AC/DC are The Easybeats, featuring the Vanda & Young team, and The Marcus Hook Roll Band featuring both Malcolm and Angus. The vinyl appears visually in excellent condition, while the fragile gatefold cover has some modest spine and shelf wear and a bottom seam split that is approximately 2” in length, though not overtly noticeable. Overall still a solid example of a rarely offered AC/DC related rarity. VG++/VG
