DESCRIPTION
Various Artist - “Blue Christmas” Welk Music Group Records WM 3002 (Stereo) from 1984. Super hard to find Promotional Only Christmas album featuring 15 different versions of the Classic “Blue Christmas” plus 5 other hard to find Christmas Hits. This was a 1984 Promotional item sent to Radio Stations to promote Artists’ versions of “Blue Christmas" that the Welk Group held the Publishing rights to and as such was never offered for sale to the public. Mostly includes Country, Easy Listening and Pop Artists but also Elvis Presley and The Beach Boys and some interesting Exotica type songs. No Cutouts, Promo markings or Barcode.
CONDITION
The Sleeve is in nice shape. There is some fairly slight basic ring and edge shelf wear and some slight corner softening. There is an old store sticker in the upper right corner - easily removable. Still very solid with no splits, tears, writing, stains, cutouts, etc. and I would rate it as VG+. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking barely played and possibly even Unplayed. If you really look closely you can find a couple light scuffs but plays pretty much perfectly Near Mint all through. There are 3-4 super light tics at the very start of the first song on Side-1 (nothing that distracts) so I’m calling it EX to account for the slight flaw instead of Near Mint but it is really close to New condition. The labels are also Near Mint.

TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
