V/A - Cool Music For A Hot Night (Tempo Records, TAP 10, Dizzy Reece, Tubby Hayes, 1957)

The record is in G+ condition with many, many hairlines/scuffs and plays throughout with prominent surface noise with a large scuff on the b side presenting an almost 'static' sounding quality. The record does however, play through without skipping. There is a low frequency 'tick' throughout the first half of the third track on the b side which is almost like a kick-drum. There are some marks and discolouration to both labels with the b side displaying the most foxing.
The sleeve is in pretty good shape although the reverse does seem to be quite badly discoloured and 'yellowed' in appearance. A previous owner has noted their two favourite tracks with asterisks and the key '* best' by the side two tracklist. There is some laminate lift on the reverse of the sleeve, almost the entire length of the spine. There is one small tear on the bottom flipback along with a couple of marks throughout the text, which is all legible, including the spine text.
