Various Artists - Electro 7.


A strong part of the Electro collection. An original UK press on Streetsounds from 1985.

Includes Roxanne Shante, The B boys, Unknown Dj, The knights of the turntables, Chris the glove Taylor, Egyptian Lover, The Fearless four. A real mix of West Coast and East Coast.

It's evident here that the West Coast was still very much Electro, while the East Coast was veering more into straight up rap/hip hop.


Includes my faves - Fresh Mess and Itchiban Scratch.


Vinyl is a very shiny ex shape. Minimal signs of use. Plays great. The sleeve is also ex. Very crisp. A tiny top edge scuff on the sleeve keeps it from being NM.
