VARIOUS ARTISTS: "The Fabulous Songs" (ca. ´67 / very rare orig. Thailand EP / MTR-208 / red label / incl.: THE MUSIC EXPLOSION: Little Bit O' Soul / THE GRATEFUL DEAD: The Golden Road / WALKER BROTHERS: Make It Easy On Yourself / THE DAVE CLARK FIVE: Because / as most collectors will already know in many cases records from East Asian countries like Thailand can at best be called "semi-official", as usually they just compiled some tracks without caring for copyright issues or royalties, and in most cases the owners of the copyright, i.e. the record companies in Europe or in the USA weren´t even aware of the existence of this kind of records / despite this disputable heritage this EP is quite collectable, not only for this rather strange mix of Psychedelic tunes and ballads, but especially for the inclusion of a Grateful Dead track, as The Dead were barely ever included on any compilations - please note the strange-looking misspelling of the Grateful Dead´s name with an "o", which is even more confusing, as the frontside shows a photo of the first Grateful Dead LP with correct name, so it would have been easy to avoid that mistake!)

light ringwear / the sleeve corners are somewhat bent / the vinyl has just a few superficial hairlines, there are no scratches (please note: compared to most other records from Thailand this EP is in a fantastic condition!) / the labels are clean
