Description

THE VALENTINES - PECULIAR HOLE IN THE SKY
This was the last single released on Perth based Clarion label by the Valentines in their pre-bubblegum era.
The song was written for the Valentines by Harry Vanda & George Young from the Easybeats. George Young is older brother to Angus and Malcolm Young from AC/DC.
B side is LOVE MAKES SWEET MUSIC, written by Kevin Ayers and a cover of the only single released by Soft Machine.
Of course vocalist Bon Scott later went on join Fraternity, then to head AC/DC.
Drummer Doug Lavery went on to be a member of Aussie super-group Axiom.
The record is the original Clarion release through Festival records (MCK 2441) and is excellent condition.
It comes in a FESTIVAL paper sleeve.
