Machined matrices: A-1U B-1U indicating the very first batch straight from the master.
So, so hard to find, VDGG's all time first classic album and here it is where it all came together from start to finish although the predecessor was awesome in its own right!! Splendid maniacal existential prog album in great EX condition!! This is grandeur from the first note till the very. For me it is at least on par if not better than "Pawn Hearts". I am very happy to be able to present this fantastic and ULTRA rare album . This will be a great first acquisition as well as a terrific upgrade!!! Splendid maniacal existential prog album.
H SIDES.
Gatefold sleeve: VG++ . This is the original gatefold sleeve without any creases or writing. There is a price sticker to the top right. The spine is still fully legible although part of the lettering has worn and overall the sleeve is in lovely shape without anything untoward and without any major creases. It has some storage wear mainly on the top and bottom edge. This is a matt sleeve and always a very hard one to find in reasonable condition. Light ring to the rear. The opening is still nice and straight and quite crisp. The inside gatefold is a beautiful EX without wear. This is definitely above average.
Vinyl: VG to VG+. Fantastic classic by VDGG and stands proud next to the other three classics which are of equal quality. It retains a nice gloss and plays throughout without any faults. A few hairlines can be seen under a strong light mostly on side B. Of course nothing major or deep at all. This is the very first press on the pink scroll label and as such a very heavy vinyl. Needless to say NO jumps, sticks. Side B produces a few low level clicks. There is some static noise during some of the quieter passages of which there are not many and in between tracks on the silent run ins/outs. most collectors will love this copy as it produces a pleasant experience, this is, however, not for you if you're after a pristine or EX copy!!
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
