PAWN HEARTS

CHARISMA

CAS 1051

1st UK Press  1971

PINK SCROLL label

Machined matrices: A-1U  and B-1U

Mothers: "H" (?) and "GG"

"BOBIL" etched into the run out side A

All of these are indicators of a very first day of issue copy!

This auction is for a very special copy of this great classic VDGG album. It has one unprinted label on the B side which somehow slipped through quality control. This is only the first time ever on Ebay, this album has been presented for auction with this apparent anomaly.

The absolute rarity of this album is not to be underestimated. It hardly ever surfaces nowadays. This is an absolutely gorgeous slab of early quality CHARISMA vinyl!! This has a lovely deep glossy sheen!! Hauntingly beautiful songcraft!!! Immense quality psych/prog album that ticks all the right boxes and incredibly hard to find.

Please, also have a look at my other prog albums up for auction this week

****ELUSIVE PROG MONSTER!!!****PERPLEXING SONG CRAFT!!!***AN INSPIRATION TO MANY SUBSEQUENT TOP ACTS!!!

!!!!A VERY HARD FIND!!! Most have been bought up by collectors!! This is hardly offered these days!!

Vinyl: VG+ to EX .   I have played this in FULL twice over> fantastic audio, a joy to listen to!! This is the true official 1st press. There are a few hairlines mainly on side B. These do not pose any problems and the audio is just great bar a couple of low level clicks on side B.  I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more detailed observation.  Fantastic song craft!! I am very glad to be able to report that this is a fine slab of vinyl without any problems at all and as such worthy of inclusion of any great prog collection.   Of course NO jumps/skips etc.  Only very light static mainly between tracks but ever so sporadic only. Please have a good look at the accompanying pictures.

Gatefold sleeve: VG+ to EX.  Beautiful "E.J.Day Group" gatefold sleeve. The opening is still super crisp and the top and bottom edges are fully intact with barely any wear at all. The spine has worn through near the top although the writing is still fully legible. Remarkably the rest of the sleeve would easily pass the EX or EX+ grade. The sleeve sits beautifully flat and has NO creases at all. There is NO writing and NO smudging at all!  It would be very difficult indeed to upgrade from this super copy. There are NO seam splits and NO tears. Without the spinal wear this would be a museum copy. Please have a careful look at all pictures provided. Probably the best one you will find in a long time. NO major creases, NO writing, NO smudges.

This an excellent investment opportunity!!! Any questions please ask me and I will try to answer soon.

Important : International postage will be registered and insured if over GBP 20.00.  Please wait for my invoice before paying. Postage will be according to Royal Mail rates. Postage is NOT a money spinning exercise for me.

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items, I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!  PLEASE REMEMBER to contact me FIRST,  if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! Similarly with the amount of stars, anything less than a full 5 * rating is effectively detrimental to a seller's rating as lower ratings will incur higher Final Value Fees  and lower priority in the bidlists eventually making it unattractive to list items on Ebay at all. I know of at least one major previous Ebay seller who has decided not to list via Ebay again. Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again!!
