Description
This is the very first promo press of Van Der Graaf Generator's The Aerosol Grey Machine. These rare initial pressings were mispressed with the track B4 as "Giant Squid." Although the labels incorrectly show track B4 as "Necromancer," the actual track on the record is "Giant Squid." These copies were quickly recalled, and all subsequent pressing were recut with the correct "Necromancer" track on Side 2.
Stamped matrix numbers are SR 61238-A-M4 I-III MR (Side 1) and SR 61238-B-M2 I-II MR (Side 2). This is the only known pressing with these matrix numbers.
