VAN HALEN: One of the most explosive and accomplished hard rock albums ever produced, Van Halen's 1978 self-titled debut altered perceptions of what the guitar could do and it set the template for the sound of rock & roll for the next decade. From the instrumental blow-out of "Eruption" and the gritty pop of "Feel Your Love Tonight," to the strutting riff of "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love" and the grandiose reworking of The Kinks' "You Really Got Me," Van Halen amply demonstrates the drive, showmanship and musicianship that would turn them into rock revolutionaries!

VAN HALEN II: Released in 1979, the band's second album is a hard rock tour de force spotlighting the band's stellar musicianship and the up-front wizardry of guitar genius Eddie Van Halen and lead vocalist David Lee Roth. Highlights include "Beautiful Girl", "Spanish Fly" and the Top 20 single "Dance the Night Away".

WOMEN AND CHILDREN FIRST: Van Halen flexed their artistic muscles for this 1980 album, which David Fricke called "high volume art" in his 1980 review. The LP went to # 6 in Billboard and served up songs that are among the band's greatest tracks "And the Cradle Will Rock", "Everybody Wants Some", "Romeo Delight" and "In A Simple Rhyme".
