This listing is for an unsealed (used) 2012 vinyl release of Van Halen's A Different Kind of Truth.
This is in LIKE NEW condition and everything looks new. The two beautiful red 180-gram LPs are flat, heavy, clean. The only blemishes are dings on various corners of the gatefold jacket. See photos.
The gatefold jacket has an embossed front cover with the classic VH logo in a shiny silver color. The inside of the gatefold is covered with David Lee Roth's handwritten lyrics to the album with his own cool and colorful illustrations to accompany the lyrics.
The two heavyweight 180-gram vinyl LPs are a beautiful RED color. I've read several comments online that say that the album sounds much better on vinyl than it does on CD -- that the songs "breathe" more on vinyl compared to the "brickwalled" compressed sound on the CD.
SHIPPING: Because this album is too valuable to risk shipping with the much slower, and less dependable, USPS Media Mail option, I will ship it via USPS Priority Mail. The cost is based on how far the destination address is from where I live in N. Carolina.
I will ship this album in a Bags Unlimited Mighty Music Mailer, perhaps the best record album mailer in the business. It does a fantastic job of protecting record albums to minimize the chance of dinged corners and other damage.
