PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
MEGA RARE Bang label variant from 1967 with Bell Sound stamp and 8-1-67 etching in the dead wax on both sides, NO Specialty dead wax info, BLPS-218 catalog number on the front cover, BLB 218 on the back cover, BLP 218 on the labels, BANG 218 on the spine, NO stereo text on the labels, side indicators to the left of the center hole and UNCENSORED version on Brown Eyed Girl as the lead-off track!!! Release year is assumed 1967 per the dead wax etchings but cannot be confirmed as there isn't a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, sprawling, all-knowing Discogs database whatsoever. THAT'S how you know it's rare. I have been collecting for 40+ years and I have never seen this variant before. Ever. LP is VG++ with a few very light scuffs. Cover is VG+ with some light wear on the tips of the corners. Don't sleep Van collectors. If you've never seen it before you won't see it again.
