Description

Up for auction is a super rare original copy of the Van Morrison album "His Band And Street Choir" originally released in the U.S. on Warner Brothers (WS 1884) in 1970.

-Guaranteed original pressing
-Rare white label promotional copy
-RL Robert Ludwig mastering in deadwax
-STERLING stamp in deadwax
-Original matte textured gatefold cover -Rare original lyric sheet insert
-Original WB date correct inner sleeve
-Promo timing strip on front cover

Note:
The STERLING RL (Robert Ludwig) mastering marks are in the deadwax on both sides.  These RL pressings are sought after by collectors and for their superior audio quality.

Condition:
Cover is very nice with only light signs of wear.  No ring wear on front, but some light rubbing on back top and bottom middle.  Seams are nice, no splits.  Spine is nice, titles nice, very tight, probably has never been opened all the way.  Interior is clean.  Very nicely preserved original.
Grade: a strong Very Good Plus (VG+)

The vinyl looks very nice, still has its original shine.  Under a very strong light you can see a couple very faint superficial hairlines and paper shadows, probably from taking the vinyl out of the paper inner sleeve a few times, but nothing that should affect the quality of playback.  Labels are clean, unmarked.  Looks like it's been played maybe a few times, but handled with care.

Play-Tested:
I have spot tested this record, and it generally sounds very nice.  Has some very light pressing noise on the run-in grooves, but once the music kicks in, you really can't hear it.  Sounds bright and clean.  Not audiophile clean, but none of these vintage pressings are--and this one sounds very nice.
Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies

Combined Shipping:
Yes, I offer significant combined shipping discounts.  Just ask!

International Shipping:
Because of unreliable postal services, buyers in France and Italy must pay for Expedited international shipping, which includes tracking and insurance.  I've had too many records lost or damaged shipping to these countries.

100% satisfaction guaranteed, no risk buying.  My 100% positive feedback allows you to buy with confidence.  Returns accepted, no questions asked.
