Van Morrison Tupelo Honey 1971 Green Warner Brothers Original Columbia Santa Maria Pressed Earliest A substampers, side one is A with no visible additional number, side two is A4. This is one lacquer away from my WLP copy. Hand etched 1B/1A matrices.  Has the mysterious SG small initals found on the best / early west coast copies. Complete with oversize poster The nicest stock copy I have seen. Hails from the same collection of the other obsessive collector who needed to liquidate. This stuff is impeccable in every facet and regard. Very much like myself this cat had made every effort to collect the best in terms of jacket/vinyl. Vinyl is Strongest VG++ to NM. Not a single abrasion. High Gloss. The vinyl compound itself looks a little odd, unformed in spots. This causes some sn in between a few of the t tracks, and then in the title track on side B, and to a much lesser degree  on the last track of the LP. Otherwise this music is as close to flawless as you can achieve. The effected songs still play as well as any other copy I have sold.  Jacket: Finest I’ve ever seen. Cream color is strong tight and close to perfection NM- Oversize Poster: VG++ has a 1.5 inch split on one of the seams, otherwise tight and beautiful. This is the kind of shit you have to pour out some of your best Whiskey/Red Wine and and get front and center. It is as good as it gets. Wild Night: NM Sonic and play perfection. Stop on a dime perfection. Tonal beauty. Perfect Guitar/horn/tambourine quality. Straight to Your Heart like a Cannonball: Pure Van vocal, flute, Strongest VG++ to NM. Old Woodtsock: a little bit of SN in the intro Solid VG++, then strongest VG++ once the band kicks in. Piano and bass perfection, every strum of the string, every pull of that bass string in the right channel. Starting a New Life: Strongest VG++ to NM You Are My Woman: Strongest VG++ to NM Tupelo Honey: Has lower level surface noise, playback varies from solid /strong VG+ entry VG++  to Strongest VG++ when the full band is playing. sn due to the vinyl compound, exists separate from the music, but is present, still gorgeous and moving in every way. I will say that every copy I have sold of this title tends to show the most SN in this track, as such this still plays on an equivalent level with those copies.
