VAN MORRISON SAINT DOMINIC'S PREVIEW
Issue : UK 1st PRESS Label : WARNER BROS Catalogue No : K 46172
This UK 1st press is on the earliest green, shield Warner Bros label. It is complete with the very original K 46172 catalogue number, the Warner company inner sleeve and inner booklet. Released in 1972, the album features Jackie Wilson Said, Gypsy, I Will Be There, Listen to the Lion, Saint Dominic's Preview, Redwood Tree and Almost Independence Day.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. There is a sensational jet black gloss, every track gleams. There is one light mark on Side Two, but there are no signs of heavy play. The label is bright and clean, the green is bold and the black text is sharp. There is just the slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There are brief seconds of slight noise on the mark but there is still superb separation and clarity throughout.
The insert booklet is in Excellent, bright and clean condition.
The matt sleeve is in Excellent condition. This sleeve is extremely clean and bright. The image is unworn and the text is sharp. There is just very slight corner wear. The sleeve is solid and the spine is very firm with clear text.
