OPEN UP YER DOOR!-16 BIG HITS FROM GARAGELAND- Frog Death Inc., 1984...rare and great psych garage comp ! Limited ,number 488 of 500 copies, OPEN UP YER DOOR VOL 1 Frog Death 101 USA 1984 Another hard to find east-coast winner, so obscure that the first copies didn't even have a sleeve! While not quite as awesome as Chosen Few or Off The Wall this still has several rare killers, particularly on side 2. A comment from Ugly Things database: "Some copies issued before the cover was printed. The cover could be ordered afterward by mail. Supposedly less than 500 were actually released due to a falling out between the two compilers." here's the track listing:
Side 1 1. Richard & The Young Lions - Open Up Your Door 2. Ognir & The Nite People - I Found A New Love 3. The Jagged Edge - How Many Times 4. The Movement - Green Knight 5. The Clefs Of Lavender Hill - Stop! Get A Ticket 6. The Savages - The World Ain't Round, It's Square 7. The Tulu Babies - Hurtin' Kind 8. The Cardinals - Tomato Juice Side 2 1. The Electras - Action Woman 2. Gregory Dee & The Avanties - Because Of You 3. The Stains - Now And Then 4. J.J. Lancaster - So Unkind 5. The Us Four - The Alligator 6. The Painted Ship - Little White Lies 7. The Heathens - Problems 8. The Young Tyrants - I TryBullet 1
