TITLE/INFO: If you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" music and more, please continue to check in on my site as I have many more 45's/EP's and LP's to sell - and thank you in advance. This super nice collectible of '60's hot rod songs, about those great old time cars and the stories that made them famous, is by various artists on two beautifully designed, hot rod themed, colored vinyl picture discs. They are on the imported, and totally unknown (to me anyway), First Blast label, and the package was all put together in 1991 - and what a great collection of songs it is - 41 songs in all. And, best of all, the GATEFOLD jacket and both colored vinyl, picture discs are in excellent to near mint condition. Personally, I have never seen anything quite like this in all my 55-60 years of collecting records, and I seriously thought about keeping this piece just because it is so unusual and beautiful - not to mention all the great songs done by a wide variety of artists. FYI, I am currently selling off my entire Beatles' collection - another very difficult decision for me to make - from their very last releases back to their earliest ones - and everything there is in great condition, too. LABEL INFO: These obscure, imported from England, First Blast Records labels (FU8) are super clean and nice with no issues in need of mentioning at all. I don't even see any spindle lines around their center circles which indicates to me that they had very little actual play - if any at all. VINYL INFO: The two (2) records are also super shiny, clean, and nice - and again, I don't see any flaws to list here either. In my opinion, they also look about as good as the day they were 1st pressed, and again, may have never been played. JACKET: Finally, this GATEFOLD jacket is likewise in excellent overall shape and shows no real serious flaws - although there are a few small scuff marks along some of the seam areas and in some of the corners - as well as a 2" split in the middle of the very top two seams of the gatefold. But that's about all, and otherwise, the main front and back covers are extremely shiny and clean - also almost as good as new (but please see all the pictures above and make your own decisions). INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this unusual "old hot rod" themed double album, with the attractive picture discs and gatefold jacket, is in extremely nice shape and as always, I have begun the auction at a low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save on postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time, wait for my invoice (not EBay's), and pay for each item as you win them.
