VARIOUS ARTISTS-SOME LIKE IT HOT 1959 UNITED ARTISTS RECORDS LP UAS 5030 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! A rollicking soundtrack to the classic comedy Some Like It Hot in this auction. For those who have seen this romantic comedy from the late 50's, you'll be brought right back to the fun that the movies gave us all. Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and of course Marilyn Monroe appeared in the film and on this soundtrack, Marilyn sings as well. A perfect time capsule for the fan of movie soundtracks or the sounds of the late 50's.
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just a very light hairline on each side neither of which hampered play at all, plays well throughout. I did hear some light crackling at times but again did not hamper play. The laminated cover has held its gloss well. There is a light scuff on the spine left corner, a light crease in the lower right back corner and there is some writing on the back left (see picture). The inner sleeve is intact. No way to know if it is the original but it does look like it could be. A terrific buy!!
