Pure Garage Part 1 (25th Anniversary Special Edition)

Pure Garage

2xLP Cat: PUREMMLP 3
Rel: 17 Nov 25
UK Garage Side 1 - Track 1. Zed Bias - Been Here Before Side 1 - Track 2. Ed Case & Carl H - Similar Games Side 2 - Track 1. DJ Passion - Hypnotised Side 2 - Track 2. Industry Standard - Let's Start Love Over Side 3 - Track 1. Anthill Mob - Listen Side 3 - Track 2. Ray Hurley & Sovereign - Vicious Side 4 - Track 1. DJ Deller vs Krome & Time - Sound For The Underground 2K (previously unreleased) Side 4 - Track 2. Cutmaster Ace - Escape

Celebrating 25 years of Pure Garage, this anniversary edition digs straight into the UK underground, a raw survey of the sound's golden pulse from 1997 onward. Curated for DJs, each side packs just two deep-cut essentials, remastered for maximum punch and grit. Zed Bias sets the tone with 'Been Here Before' with its swung shuffle and sub-weight defining the genre's DNA. Ed Case and Carl H's 'Similar Games' rides the same tension between soul and steel while Anthill Mob's 'Listen' and Ray Hurley's 'Vicious' bring dark, rolling pressure. By the time Cutmaster Ace closes with 'Escape', it's a clear reminder of how alive the garage continuum still feels.
