VASHTI BUNYAN . Just another diamond day 33 rpm lp
GUARANTEED original first UK pressing on PHILIPS . 6308 019. stereo. from 1970
everybody knows it . one of the rarest UK major label pressing and one of the best UK folk album ever by the beautiful miss Bunyan . highly sought after and megarare forever.
UK folk music does not get more personal than this . flawless production by Joe Boyd. a masterwork of delicate subtlety .
there's a reserve price that reflects the condition of the record ( cover mainly ) and it's rarity.
COVER ( not laminated ,foldout) has a quite pronounced tear on front ( see scan ) and a couple of other tiny tear . has the trace of two removed circular stickers , but those are barely noticeable next to the Philips logo on front also. otherwise very light minimal wear , no seam splits ,no unwanted writings . i'd would be a strong ex ,if not for the imperfection i've mentioned . i grade it VG +.
LABEL perfect with just a couple of almost invisible marks around the spindle hole .
VINYL under a critical light shows some tiny hairlines and paper scuffs . i say EX .
i want to stress again how delicate the music is .the record plays perfect ! no background noise , except a couple of light crackles( not clicks!) for literally 4 or 5 revolutions at the beginning of side 2.
