Description
Here is a 12 inch 78 RPM record known as a V-Disc or Victory Disc. These special recordings were only made available to WWII service men and women from the War Department Special Services. Marked on label Special Services U. S. Marine Corps. This one is # 270, with Vocal by Dinah Shore with Albert Sack his Orchestra playing "Can’t you read between the lines”" and “June is bustin’ out all over” sung by Ginny Simms with Edgar Fairchild Orchestra on side A; while on side B; Marie Greene singing with Van Cleve and his orchestra on "Velvet Moon". Condition of the labels: G ; condition of the playing surfaces also G with some wear, abrasions and scratches.
