Description
You are bidding on a super-ultra-rare copy of the Velvet Underground's 1967 debut, The Velvet Underground & Nico, produced by Andy Warhol. This copy is Verve V-5008, the original mono pressing with the Eric Emerson-lawsuit-threat sticker (Emerson is underneath the sticker if you want to go after him).
The vinyl is excellent, near-mint condition -- I mean, this disc is gorgeous. The record plays clean and noise-free.
The cover has slight ring and surface wear on the front and back. There is a drill hole in the lower left corner (it is a review copy). The banana is missing its top inch, but the rest is intact. The gatefold is near-mint, nearly snow-white and free of ring wear.
This is a superb copy of a highly coveted rarity. It'll make a great addition to your collection!!
