Original first USA mono pressing of The Velvet Underground & Nico.
Record is mostly VG++ apart from the first two songs on side A. I grade them VG/VG+. There is some static hiss in these 2 songs but the songs are well audible. Absolutely no loud pops, ticks sticks or skips in this record. I don't own a cleaning machine for records. This might help. And i play records with a stereo MC cartridge. So i'm curious how this one would sound with a mono cartridge.
Cover is VG++, if the stem of the banana wasn't torn, i would grade it NM. The stem was torn before i bought it. I never touched the banana or stem. Someone attached it firmly like it is.
During the auction i recieved a question about the peeling of the banana. The banana can be peeled (i tried it and peeled about 20% but stopped because i don't want to risk damaging it). The stem can be peeled without damaging the cover (i tried about half) but it seems to be glued. I pushed it back and it looks excactly as the pictures.

Original inner sleeve which i would grade VG++. Without the punch hole i would grade it NM. Sorry for the bad foto (to dark).
Of course this beautiful expensive gem is gonna be packed verry well!
From my personal collection i'm selling some of my precious records because i want to upgrade my audio equipment. Records aways were handled with care and played on a thorens 124.
